Each student works from a reference picture of their choice, either from the wide selection available at the studio or from their own collection.

Students will learn to develop their own cartoon characters. Weekly lessons will help students learn how to apply expressions, proportions, and elements of design, to their characters.

In this class we will do weekly four panel assignments working on composition, shot selection, story pacing.

Students will be introduced to the elements of art: line, shape, value, color and texture, through drawing, painting, collage and other activities. The elements of art are considered the 'building blocks' of art.
